NEET PG General Eligibility 2025

Candidates must have completed their MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution in India to appear for the NEET PG 2025. Also, one should have completed or be in the process of completing their mandatory internship by August 15, 2025. Applicants must be registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC) and possess a valid registration certificate.

NEET PG Foreign Medical Graduates Eligibility Criteria 2025

The Eligible criteria for the Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) for NEET PG 2025 must have completed their MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign institution. They must qualify for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) and obtain a provisional or permanent registration certificate from the NMC or SMC. Also, a one-year internship in India is mandatory before applying for NEET PG.

NEET PG Foreign Medical Nationals Eligibility 2025

Foreign nationals are also eligible to take NEET PG 2025. The candidate does not need to clear FMGE for the NEET PG Exam but must have obtained their MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution abroad. The postgraduate course may be temporarily registered with the NMC, provided the candidate is pursuing the course at a recognized medical institution in India. However, they must be registered as medical practitioners in their respective countries.

NEET PG Eligibility 2025 for AIQ 50% Quota

All India Quota (AIQ) 50% of seats must meet the general NEET PG eligibility criteria. However, medical graduates from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for the AIQ 50% unless the Government of India has nominated them under the central pool quota.

NEET PG 2025 State Quota Eligibility Criteria
