Everything you should know about NEET PG 2025
The National Board of
Examination (NBE) is the NEET PG 2025 exam conducting body, which will announce
dates and other crucial details with an official information brochure on its
official website. The NEET PG 2025 exam will be held online for admission to MD/MS
courses for 2025-26. Candidates must register online and submit the NEET PG
2025 exam application form. As per the recent notification by NMC, the NEET PG 2025 exam will be held
tentatively on June 15, 2025.
What is NEET PG?
The National Board of Examinations conducts
the NEET PG Exam, essential for candidates seeking admission to MD (Doctor of
Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), and Post-Graduate post MBBS DNB and NBE
diploma courses
across India. It is the central entrance examination for doctors in India who
wish to pursue specialization after completing their MBBS degree. The exam mode
is online, and the CBT (computer-based test) assesses candidates' comprehensive
understanding of medical subjects studied during their MBBS program. Candidates
must complete their MBBS degree and the required internship to be eligible.

Eligibility and Scope
A candidate preparing for the NEET PG 2025
should know the eligibility criteria set by the board. There is no age limit in
the exam. One should have a degree/provisional Pass Certificate recognized
under the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Apart from an MBBS degree, they
should also possess a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS,
whereas the internship must be completed according to the official brochure
before July 31, 2025.
NEET PG 2025 Exam
Pattern
NBE has set the NEET PG 2025 pattern, which is
released along with the official brochure. NEET PG 2025 structure comprises
details about the exam, including exam mode, medium, the total number of
questions and their type, and marking scheme. A negative mark is on the exam.
One will get + 4 marks for every correct response and -1 for the wrong
