Dr. Ram Chandra Goyal is currently Head of Community Health Services at Trichy SRM Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. He has previously served as Dean of Rural Medical College, Loni, Maharashtra, and as Chief Medical Superintendent at Acharya Vinobe Bhave Rural Hospital, Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (DMIMS), Wardha, Maharashtra. He has also been Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Rural Medical College, Loni, and at JNMC, DMIMS (Deemed University), Wardha, as well as Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Garyounis University, Benghazi, Libya.
He has served as President of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) and Vice President of the IPHA Maharashtra State Chapter. Dr. Goyal has been honored with the prestigious Dhanwantari Oration at the national level and DN Pai Oration at the state level. He is a fellow of both the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) and the Indian Public Health Association (IPHA). He has also acted as an international coordinator for academic, research, and health services exchange programs with universities in Sweden, Germany, Italy, and Hungary.
