Along with patient`s condition recording, also included is research paper reading to improve the evidence-based practices among students. Patient assessment sheet is also given to record complete assessment and treatment of any case at the end of every month. Apart from this, at the end of every month, department in-charge will evaluate candidates based on their punctuality, behaviour, etc. which will keep positive pressure on the students to keep their performances up to the mark during their internship.
Bindesh D. Patel, MPTh
Mr. Bindesh D. Patel is currently serving as Deputy Registrar at P. P. Savani University, Gujarat. He completed his MPTh in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from MGM University, Navi Mumbai, and is presently pursuing an MBA from IGNOU as well as a PhD from P. P. Savani University. He has completed internationally certified workshops in Kinesio Taping and Neural Tissue Mobilization.
Mr. Patel has worked as an on-field physiotherapist for several prestigious tournaments, including the 20th Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship. He has delivered expert lectures at various institutions and has published four research papers in national and international journals.
With a strong interest in innovation and entrepreneurship, he coordinates the SSIP Centre at P. P. Savani University. He has attended numerous workshops and completed multiple courses related to start-ups and innovation. He was awarded First Runner-Up in the “Innovation Exhibits” competition at a conference organized by AIIMS, New Delhi. Recently, he has filed a patent for a posture assessment device. He is a registered member of the Gujarat State Council of Physiotherapy.
