She completed her Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, BSc Nursing (Post Basic) from Himalayan College of Nursing, Swami Rama University, and MSc in Pediatric Nursing from Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal University, Karnataka. She is a lifetime member of TNAI and NRSI, and has been recognized as Best Performer during her BSc and topped in Child Health Nursing during her postgraduate degree. She received the first prize for Best Paper Presentation at the NRSI Conference (2016–17) and has actively attended and organized national and international conferences.
