VS Randhawa, MD (Microbiology) Director Professor, Department of Microbiology, Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi Professor VS Randhawa is an esteemed academician and microbiologist with extensive teaching experience at prestigious institutions such as Dr RML PGIMS, New Delhi; JN Medical College, Aligarh; SGPGIMS, Lucknow; and MAMC, New Delhi. He has received numerous accolades, including the Best Thesis Medal (1989), WHO Fellowships (2002 and 2011), the IMSA Fellowship (2009), and the Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2016). Prof. Randhawa has contributed significantly to the field, serving as a technical assessor with NABL and NAAC, and as an approved assessor with the NMC and appraiser with the NBE. He is also a master trainer for ICTC medical personnel and an evaluator for MD, DM, and PhD courses. His expertise extends to national projects, where he serves as the principal investigator. He has authored two textbooks, contributed chapters to three books, and published numerous high-impact papers in national and international journals. He is a reviewer for several leading scientific journals and has delivered over 70 scientific presentations at both national and international conferences.
