V. S. Randhawa, MD (Microbiology), is currently Director Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. He has also taught at Dr. RML PGIMS, New Delhi; JN Medical College, Aligarh; SGPGIMS, Lucknow; and MAMC, New Delhi. He has received several honors, including the Best Thesis Medal (1989), recognition for the HIV/AIDS Control Plan at Osaka University, two WHO Fellowships (2002 and 2011), the IMSA Fellowship (2009), the Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2016), and completion of the ACC Course (2022). Prof. Randhawa serves as a technical assessor for NABL, New Delhi, and NAAC, Bengaluru; an approved assessor for NMC; an appraiser for NBE; a master trainer of ICTC medical personnel; and an evaluator for MD, DM, and PhD programs.
