Sunder Lal
Sunder Lal, MBBS, DPH, MD, is former Professor and Head, Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Pt. BD Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak. A distinguished public health expert, he has over 50 years of experience in teaching, training and research in community medicine. He served as ICDS Consultant for more than 25 years, Honorary Chief Editor of the Indian Journal of Community Medicine, and Secretary-General of IAPSM for 9 years, and is a Fellow of IAPSM.
He has authored the Textbook of Community Medicine: Preventive and Social Medicine and published over 190 research papers in reputed national and international journals. He has also served on editorial boards of several scientific publications. He retired as Deputy Director-General (Medical), TA, with a meritorious service award.
