Santosh Kumar Swain, MS, DNB, MNAMS, Fellowship in Neuro-otology (Lucknow) and Fellowship in Endoscopic Ear Surgery (Germany), is Professor and Head of the Department of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at the Institute of Medical Sciences & SUM Hospital, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He graduated from SCB Medical College, Cuttack (Utkal University), obtained his MS (ENT) from VSS Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Burla, Sambalpur, and completed his DNB (ENT) from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
He completed a fellowship in Neuro-otology at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, a Senior Residency at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and advanced training in Endoscopic Ear Surgery in Germany. He has delivered several lectures at national and international conferences.
He has to his credit more than 200 research articles published in national and international journals. He is the author of several books in the field of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery, including A Concise Textbook of Ear, Nose and Throat, Snapshots in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery, Most Common Points in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery, Practical ENT, Introduction to Nose and Sinus Clinic, Review & MCQs in ENT, and Points to Remember in ENT.
