P.V. Rataboli, MBBS, MD, ND, DHM, PGDIP, is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology at Goa Medical College, Bambolim, Goa. He completed his MBBS from the University of Bombay in 1986 and his MD in Pharmacology from Goa University in 1991. He also holds a Diploma in Naturopathy and a Diploma in Herbal Medicine from the Indian Institute of Naturopathy, Kolkata.
He has been a postgraduate teacher and research guide in Pharmacology at Goa University since 2001 and an approved guide for research projects under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). With 34 years of teaching experience, he has authored over 100 research papers published in national and international medical journals.
Dr. Rataboli has served as a resource person and guest faculty at more than 100 CMEs, awareness programmes, workshops, and conferences in and outside Goa. His contributions have been recognized with several honors, including “National Professor” by the Indian Medical Association College of General Practitioners, Chennai (2009), Best President of IMA Goa State (2009), Best Citizen of India Award by the International Publishing House, New Delhi (2009), and the Bharat Shiksha Ratan Award in medical education and research by the Global Achievers’ Foundation, New Delhi (2013).
