Vinay Kumar Pandey DSc, PhD is founder, Geosp Engineers and Consultant LLP, Mumbai, India, currently working on the application of engineering geology in disaster mitigation measures caused by climate change. He obtained DSc (earth science), PhD (geology), MSc (disaster mitigation), and MSc (geology). He has over 25 years of experience in engineering geology, environmental geology, climate change, and infrastructure project planning, development, and construction. Dr Pandey has written four books on engineering geology and climate change, and published more than 40 papers in national and international journals.

Ajai Mishra MPhil, PhD is former Head, Department of Geology, University of Lucknow, India. He obtained MPhil from Delhi University and PhD from IIT Delhi. Dr Mishra has more than 30 years of teaching experience in geomorphology, remote sensing, and GIS and economic geology. His specialization is in the field of geomorphology, glaciology, remote sensing, and environmental geology. He has published more than 40 research papers in national and international journals and written two books on climate change. Twenty PhD theses were awarded under his supervision. Presently, he is working on the problem of water resources and the urbanization of the Ganga plain.
