Ajai Mishra
Ajai Mishra MPhil, PhD is former Head, Department of Geology, University of
Lucknow, India. He obtained MPhil from Delhi University and PhD from IIT Delhi. Dr
Mishra has more than 30 years of teaching experience in geomorphology,
remote sensing, and GIS and economic geology. His specialization is in the field
of geomorphology, glaciology, remote sensing, and environmental geology. He has
published more than 40 research papers in national and international journals and written
two books on climate change. Twenty PhD theses were awarded under his supervision.
Presently, he is working on the problem of water resources and the urbanization of the
Ganga plain.
