Arup Kumar Kundu
Arup Kumar Kundu, MD, FRCP, FICP, MNAS, is a distinguished internist with over 35 years of experience, known for his sharp clinical judgment and analytical approach. His textbook on clinical medicine has been a trusted resource for medical students across India for more than two decades.
A highly regarded teacher and examiner, he has trained numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students and is widely recognized for his clarity in teaching and strong clinical skills.
Dr. Kundu has published over 125 papers in peer-reviewed journals and authored five additional books on medicine. He has contributed to Kumar and Clark’s Clinical Medicine (6th–10th editions) and the API Textbook of Medicine, along with several other medical texts.
An invited speaker at many national and international conferences, he has also written for major newspapers and appeared on AIR and Doordarshan for public health outreach.
