Venkatesh is a renowned Professor of Medical Education at Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru, where he has served for several years. Previously, he served as the Head of the Department of Physiology at the same institution. With over 37 years of experience, Dr. Venkatesh has taught Physiology to undergraduate, postgraduate students and guided PhD students in the field of medical education. He has contributed significantly to medical research and education, publishing and presenting more than 110 scientific papers in national and international journals and conferences. He is the recipient of the prestigious FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research) Fellowship for his innovation in medical education. Dr. Venkatesh has also been honored with the K.P. Puthuraya National Award for Best Teacher in Physiology and the M.L. Gupta Award for Substantial Contribution to Medical Education by the Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India.
