D Venkatesh
D Venkatesh, MD, is presently serving as Professor of Medical Education, Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru, Karnataka. He is a former Head of the Department of Physiology, Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru. He has been teaching Physiology to UG, PG, and guiding PhD students for more than 37 years. He has published/presented more than 110 scientific papers in national and international journals and conferences. He is the recipient of the FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research, Philadelphia, USA) fellowship for innovation in medical education. He has been bestowed with the KP Puthuraya National Award for the Best Teacher in Physiology and the ML Gupta Award for Substantial Contribution to Medical Education by the Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India.
