Pity Koul, PhD, MSc (N), MA (Public Administration), PGDDE, BSc (N) Dr. Pity Koul, with over 43 years of experience in teaching, administration, and research, is currently Emeritus Professor at the School of Nursing Sciences and Research, Sharda University. She has previously served as Director & Professor, School of Health Sciences, IGNOU, New Delhi, and as Professor & Dean, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University, Gurugram. She was honored with the prestigious National Florence Nightingale Award (National Presidential Award) by the President of India in 2017 and has been felicitated by the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI). Her other recognitions include awards from AICTE, Nari Shakti Award, National Ratan Award, Best Teacher Award, Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Nurse Teacher Association (NTA) and Nursing Scholar Society (NSS), and Best Nurse Award. Dr. Koul is National Advisor and Founder President of the Pediatric and Neonatal Nurses Forum of India (PNNFI). She has guided over 25 PhD scholars and served as External Resource Faculty for doctoral programs at various universities.
