Dr. Pity Koul, with over 43 years of experience in teaching, administration, and research, is currently Emeritus Professor at the School of Nursing Sciences and Research, Sharda University. She has previously served as Director & Professor, School of Health Sciences, IGNOU, New Delhi, and as Professor & Dean, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University, Gurugram.
She was honored with the prestigious National Florence Nightingale Award (National Presidential Award) by the President of India in 2017 and has been felicitated by the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI). Her other recognitions include awards from AICTE, Nari Shakti Award, National Ratan Award, Best Teacher Award, Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Nurse Teacher Association (NTA) and Nursing Scholar Society (NSS), and Best Nurse Award.
