Manmohan Lal, Ph.D. (Horticulture: Fruit Science) Dr. Manmohan Lal is currently working in the Department of Horticulture, Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier, he served as a Guest Lecturer at the Industrial Training Institute, RS Pura, Jammu, where he taught courses such as gardening and floriculture. He also worked as an Assistant Professor at the University Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Chandigarh University-Gharuan, Mohali, teaching horticulture for over two years. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in horticulture from the Faculty of Horticulture, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, and completed his doctorate in horticulture (fruit science) in 2021 from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu. Dr. Lal has contributed 16 research papers and 9 review papers in various NAAS-rated, UGC, WOS, and Scopus-indexed journals. Additionally, he has published 4 book chapters and 5 articles in agricultural magazines and has three patents related to tissue culture technology.

Yachna Sood, Ph.D. (Horticulture: Floriculture and Landscaping) Dr. Yachna Sood is presently an Associate Professor at the University Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Chandigarh University-Gharuan, Mohali. She completed her graduation and postgraduation in horticulture from Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, and obtained her Ph.D. in horticulture (floriculture and landscaping) in 2012 from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Dr. Sood has over 11 years of experience in teaching and the corporate sector. She also provides consultancy for landscaping and orchard establishment to progressive growers. She has published 21 research papers, various articles in magazines, and contributed 9 book chapters.
