Yachna Sood
Yachna Sood, PhD (Horticulture: Floriculture and Landscaping) is currently working as an Associate Professor at the University Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Chandigarh University–Gharuan, Mohali. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Horticulture from Dr. Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, and earned her PhD in Horticulture (Floriculture and Landscaping) in 2012 from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.
She has over 11 years of experience in teaching and the corporate sector. In addition, she provides consultancy services for landscaping and orchard establishment to progressive growers. She has contributed 21 research papers, numerous magazine articles, and 9 book chapters to her credit.
