Yachna Sood, Ph.D. (Horticulture: Floriculture and Landscaping)
Dr. Yachna Sood is presently an Associate Professor at the University Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Chandigarh University-Gharuan, Mohali. She completed her graduation and postgraduation in horticulture from Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, and obtained her Ph.D. in horticulture (floriculture and landscaping) in 2012 from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.
Dr. Sood has over 11 years of experience in teaching and the corporate sector. She also provides consultancy for landscaping and orchard establishment to progressive growers. She has published 21 research papers, various articles in magazines, and contributed 9 book chapters.
