Ruchika Garg, MD, Fellow Indian College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, FIAOG, FICMCK, FMAS, is Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, SN Medical College, Agra, India. She is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of SAFOG, Associate Editor of the Journal of Midwife Health (PubMed, 2022–2024), and editor of books including Labour and Delivery: Updated Guide and Medical Disorders in Pregnancy. She has authored and co-authored around 80 book chapters and over 160 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals, with more than 250 citations. Dr. Garg is a laparoscopic and vaginal surgeon, passionate about teaching surgical skills and medical ethics. She is a recipient of numerous awards, including the IMA National Academic Excellence Award (2023), FOGSI Future Award (2017), and Sushma Swaraj Award. She serves as Chairperson, Rural Committee ISOPARB, Founder of Agra Chapter, ISOPARB, and President, Agra Menopause Society (2023–25). She is also an undergraduate and postgraduate teacher and examiner at various universities.

She is a member of the Managing Committee of the Mumbai Obstetrics and Gynecology Society and serves as Secretary of the Mumbai Menopause Society and the Association of Medical Women in India (Mumbai Branch). Dr. Vora-Thakur has received the MOGS Dr. Duru Shah Best Committee Member Award and the R.D. Pandit Award.
