Suvarna Khadilkar, MD, DGO, FICOG, CIMP
Dr. Suvarna Khadilkar graduated from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, and began her academic career as Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynecology at JJ Hospital and GMC, Mumbai. She later served as Associate Professor and Unit Chief at St. George Hospital and Cama & Albless Hospital, Mumbai. Securing Rank 1 in the MPSC examination, she was appointed Professor and Head, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Government Medical College, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. She has over 25 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience and has been an examiner for Mumbai University and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
After nearly two decades of association with the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology of India (JOGI), she became Editor-in-Chief in 2017. She has held key leadership roles in FOGSI, Indian Menopause Society (National President, 2017), AMWI, and MOGS.
