Susanta Kumar Pal
Susanta Kumar Pal, MSc (Ag), PhD,
is currently Professor, Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), Nadia, West Bengal. He began his career as a soil analyst at the Potash Research Institute of India, Gurgaon, Haryana.
He has been actively engaged in teaching and research as a senior faculty member at BCKV since 1992. As a postgraduate and doctoral examiner, he has evaluated students from many universities over the past 30 years.
He is the author of the well-known Textbook of Soil Science and two other books—Soil Sampling and Methods of Analysis and Methods of Soil and Plant Analysis.
