Dr. Nafis Ahmad Faruqi, MBBS, MS
Dr. Nafis Ahmad Faruqi is a former Professor in the Department of Anatomy at JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He completed his MBBS in 1976 and MS in Anatomy in 1981 from the same institution. With 40 years of teaching experience, he has trained numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students in anatomy.
His research focuses on neuroanatomy, microanatomy, morphometry, histomorphometry, and fetal anatomy, with over 110 papers published in national and international journals. He has supervised many postgraduate candidates and delivered numerous invited lectures at conferences and research courses. In recognition of his outstanding academic contributions, he was elected a member of the New York Academy of Sciences in 1997 and awarded Man of the Year in 2002 by the American Biological Institute.
