Dr. M. Vimaladevi is one of the senior-most teachers in pharmaceutical technology in India. Until 2000, she was the only woman Professor in pharmacy across Indian universities. With over 37 years of teaching experience, she has taught all major subjects in pharmaceutical technology and is a specialist in cosmetics and herbal cosmetic technology and formulations—reflected in her authored volume on Herbal Cosmetics.
She is the Founder President of the Indian Cosmetic Technologists Association and an active member of several national and international professional bodies. A veteran academician and administrator, she is also the CEO of a herbal cosmetics industry, uniquely combining academic excellence with rich industrial experience in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals.
