T Pullaiah
T. Pullaiah obtained his MSc (1973) and PhD (1976) in Botany from Andhra University. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Moscow State University, Russia (1976–1978). He has traveled extensively and visited universities and botanical gardens in about 17 countries.
He has published 325 research papers and 35 popular articles. He has guided 54 PhD scholars and 35 MPhil students. He is a recipient of several gold medals and the Best Teacher Award, Andhra Pradesh. He is the author/editor of 75 books, including Advances in Cell and Molecular Diagnostics (Elsevier), Encyclopedia of World Medicinal Plants (five volumes), Herbal Antioxidants (three volumes), Antidiabetic Plants, Eminent Indian Botanists, Textbook of Pharmacognosy (three volumes), Research Methodology in Plant Science, and Research Methodology in Zoology.
