Shukla Das
Shukla Das MD, DNB, MNAMS is Director-Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology at University College of Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Delhi, and former Assistant Director at the National Centre for Disease Control. She has over 27 years of teaching experience in microbiology for medical, nursing, and dental students and has guided several PhD scholars under Delhi University’s Faculty of Medical Sciences. She has completed 10 government-funded research projects in autoimmunity, diarrhoeal diseases, and fungal infections, and has published over 198 papers, including 120 peer-reviewed indexed articles, and contributed chapters to six textbooks. She has served as examiner for BDS, MBBS, MD, and PhD programs at various universities and has delivered scientific talks at national and international conferences.
