Shivdayal Sharma
Shivdayal Sharma MTech is currently a practising engineer in the field of hydrology and hydraulics.
He completed BTech in civil engineering and MTech in water resources engineering. He has 18 years of
experience in the field of hydrology and hydraulics, including water availability study, flood estimation of
different hydraulic components, consistency checking of hydrometeorological data, finding out
catchment area, hydraulic design of drainage, bridge, spillway, barrage, energy dissipater,
surge/transient analysis, water surface profile, reservoir operation, and sediment analysis. He worked on
Indian and Nepal-based projects and has exposure to both the Indian and Nepal practices and their
respective codes and standards.
