SP Gupta
SP Gupta, PhD (Civil Engineering) is former Director of Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur (2012) and previously Principal of the institute for 9 years. He retired from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, as Professor and Head of the Department of Structural Engineering. He earned his B.E. in Civil Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (1965), M.E. in Structural Engineering from Delhi University (1970), and PhD from University of Rajasthan (1985). Dr. Gupta has over 25 research publications and co-authored books including Structural Analysis: A Matrix Approach, Theory of Structures, and Prestressed Concrete. He has served as Chairman of Academic Affairs and Professor Incharge for Admissions and Examinations.
