Nita Bahl

Nita Bahl joined the Division of Mycology and Plant Pathology at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute after completing her education. She received her M.Sc. degree with the best academic record from the University of Rajasthan in 1959 and later completed postgraduate studies at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. She qualified the CA examination in New Delhi in 1970, securing a gold medal in Plant Pathology. She worked for more than two decades on various aspects of mushroom cultivation and crop protection and served as the principal investigator of the divisional research project titled “Researches on Mushroom Cultivation.” She has a large number of research papers and popular articles to her credit.
