Gayatri Rath
Prof. Gayatri Rath, MS, FAMS, FIAMS
Prof. Gayatri Rath is the former Director Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, and former Professor and Head at North DMC Medical College and Hindu Rao Hospital, New Delhi. She graduated from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Odisha, in 1973 and completed her postgraduate training in anatomy at AIIMS, New Delhi, in 1981. She has been involved in undergraduate teaching and postgraduate training for several decades and has published 160 scientific papers.
She is a recipient of numerous honors, including the Silver Jubilee Research Award (BC Roy National Award Fund), Most Popular Teacher Award, Dr. H. J. Mehta Memorial Award (Gold Medal, 2001), and Dr. M. L. Pan Memorial Award (Gold Medal, 2002). She has delivered several prestigious orations, including the Dr. S. P.
