Eronthi Somorokoon MBBS, MS, FRCOG (UK) and Chathura Ratnayake MBBS, MS, FRCOG (UK) are Senior Lecturers and Consultant Obstetricians and Gynaecologists at the University of Peradeniya and the Teaching Hospital, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. This book is based on over three decades of their experience as active clinicians and dedicated clinical teachers involved in teaching medical students for the final MBBS examination and postgraduate students preparing for the Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the MRCOG (UK) examinations.
