Jyoti Sarin, PhD (N), MSc (Pediatric Nursing), BSc (Hons.) Nursing, is the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Director-Principal at MM College of Nursing (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala, Haryana. She completed her BSc in 1985, MSc in Pediatric Nursing in 1995, and PhD in Nursing in 2005 from RAK College of Nursing, University of Delhi.
Dr. Sarin has received several prestigious awards, including the President of India Silver Medal for academic excellence in BSc (Hons) Nursing, the President of India Gold Medal for her Master’s, and the TK Adrenwala Prize for best research in her Master's dissertation. With 36 years of experience in teaching, she has contributed to baccalaureate, postgraduate, and PhD Nursing programs and has numerous publications.
She has presented at national and international workshops and was part of the core group for developing the Standards for Nursing Practice Quality Assurance Model for a WHO project. Dr. Sarin has participated in international training in Quality Assurance in Health Care (Indonesia) and Child Survival programs (Sweden, Vietnam).
She is the President of the Indian Association of Neonatal Nurses and a certified national trainer for Neonatal Resuscitation, Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness, and the Virtual Capacity Building Program for Midwifery Faculty by INC & UNFPA.
Smriti Arora, PhD (N), MSc (Pediatric Nursing), BSc (Hons.) Nursing, is currently serving as Professor and Principal at the College of Nursing, AIIMS, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, with over two decades of experience in the nursing field. She completed her BSc (Hons.) Nursing and MSc in Pediatric Nursing at the College of Nursing, AIIMS, New Delhi, and earned her PhD in Nursing through the National Consortium, Indian Nursing Council, and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Arora has previously worked at Amity University Haryana, Jamia Hamdard, and AIIMS, New Delhi. She is a recognized PhD Nursing Guide by the Indian Nursing Council and has mentored and guided more than 35 postgraduate nursing students.
She also participated as a Mentor in the Government of India’s nationwide training program, "Nationwide Capacity Building of Nursing Professionals for Comprehensive Management of COVID-19 in Children."
