M

Ms Eleena Kumari

Eleena Kumari, MSc [Mental Health (Psychiatric) Nursing], is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Khalsa College of Nursing, Amritsar, Punjab. She is a respected faculty member in the areas of motivation, leadership, and innovation in mental health nursing. By blending innovative trends in psychiatric nursing with compassionate care of the mind and soul, she has thoughtfully expressed her ideas through this book. More than three years ago, she conducted an innovative research study on the quality of care in psychiatric units, in which she actively sought and analyzed psychiatric patients’ perspectives on hospital care and implemented the findings accordingly. This study was notable for recognizing psychiatric patients as key stakeholders in evaluating care quality. The research has been published in indexed PGI Nursing Research and Midwifery journals. She is deeply committed to continuous learning and self-improvement. This book is the result of an extensive review of recent innovations in mental health nursing, and its content has been tested and refined through her own teaching experience with nursing students.
