Dr. F. C. Garg, PhD Dr. F. C. Garg is Professor of Microbiology and Dean at Sardar Bhagwan Singh University, Dehradun (formerly Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research). With over five decades of experience teaching microbiology to undergraduate and postgraduate students, he has served in several institutions in diverse academic roles. He began his career as Assistant Professor at the College of Agriculture, Himachal Pradesh University, Palampur, and later joined CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, retiring as Professor of Microbiology. He also served as Regional Director of the Regional Biofertiliser Development Center, Hisar, on deputation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Dr. Garg’s research interests include biological nitrogen fixation, inoculant production, and food fermentations. He has published over 80 research papers in national and international journals and contributed chapters to several books.
