Dr. D R Arora is a distinguished microbiologist with more than 45 years of teaching experience in microbiology. He has served as the Head of the Department of Microbiology at various prestigious institutions, including Maharaja Agrasen Medical College and SGT University in Haryana. Dr. Arora has also played a key role in medical accreditation as a Lead Assessor for NABL and Principal Assessor for NABH.
He has authored 12 textbooks and published over 150 research articles in national and international journals. His research on Klebsiella pneumoniae and malaria parasites has been recognized globally, with citations in World Health Organization (WHO) reports and prominent microbiology texts. Dr. Arora's significant contributions to research earned him the Smt. Kunti Mehrotra Award in 1983. He was elected a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences in 1985 and received a WHO fellowship for HIV/AIDS research. In recognition of his achievements, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists in 2023.

Dr. Brij Bala Arora is a highly respected pathologist with over 42 years of experience in teaching pathology to medical, dental, and nursing students. She has held leadership roles, including as Director-Principal and Head of Pathology at SGT Medical College, Gurugram. Dr. Arora has published five textbooks and 175 research articles in well-regarded journals, particularly focusing on AgNOR staining techniques and morphometric analysis in pathology.
Her work on AgNOR staining has been internationally recognized, and she has supervised 67 postgraduate students in various medical disciplines. Dr. Arora has received numerous accolades, including the Bharat Jyoti Award in 2006 and the International Gold Star Award in 2010. Her contributions to medical education and research have earned her inclusion in Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, a prestigious global recognition. She was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Achievers Forum in 2012.
