Krishna Garg, MS, PhD, FAMS, FIMSA, FIAMS, FASI, is former Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy at Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), New Delhi, where she completed her MS and PhD and taught until retirement. She was elected Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS) in 2005 and has received multiple honors, including the Excellence Award in Anatomy (2004, Delhi Medical Association), Life Time Achievement Award, Fellowship of the Anatomical Society of India, and the DMA Distinguished Services Award. She serves as visiting faculty for DNB and MDS programs and as a PhD examiner. She is the chief editor of BD Chaurasia’s Human Anatomy (9th edition, Vols. 1–4) and editor or coauthor of several other anatomy and physiology textbooks for medical, nursing, and pharmacy students. She has published 53 scientific papers.
