VG Sawant,
Dr. V.G. Sawant, MBBS, MS (Anatomy) served as a faculty member in the Department of Anatomy at Grant Medical College, Mumbai, for 26 years. He later held positions as Professor of Anatomy at Ternal Medical College, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, and Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy at DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Sawant has held several key academic positions, including Chairman of the Postgraduate Teachers’ Committee of Anatomy, Mumbai University, Chairman of the Board of Studies for Preclinical Subjects of the Medical Faculty, and member of the Board of Studies for Preclinical Subjects of the Dental and Physiotherapy Faculties. He has also served as a member of the postgraduate course committee of Dr. DY Patil University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, and has been an examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate students across various universities in India.
