V Alagarsamy
V. Alagarsamy, MPharm, PhD, FIC, DOMH is Professor and Principal of MNR College of Pharmacy and Director of the MNR Foundation for Research and Innovations, Hyderabad. He has over two decades of teaching and research experience in medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry of natural products, specializing in synthetic heterocyclic bioactive compounds.
He has authored/co-authored over 200 research papers and holds one patent. He is the co-editor of the international journal Antiinfective Agents and has written several influential textbooks, including Textbook of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Natural Products.
Dr. Alagarsamy serves on the All India Board of Pharmaceutical Education (AIB-PE), AICTE, is a board of studies member at Osmania University, and a doctoral guide for PhD scholars. He was recently named among the top 2% of scientists globally in pharmacy by Stanford University, USA.
