Taraprasad Chattopadhyay
Taraprasad Chattopadhyay MSc,PhD,sMiEEE CUSA), FIETE is currently Dean, Faculty of Science, Visva-Bharati (a Central University), West Bengal. He has more than 37 years of experience in teaching. He obtained PhD from University of Burdwan. He has to his credit about 140 research papers published in national and international journals and presented at various conferences. He was awarded Japanese government scholarship for research at Kyoto University and was an invited researcher of Japan Research Development Corporation. He has awarded research fellowship by Association of International Education, Japan. He was a visiting professor in Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University, Japan, and a MHRD-seconded professor in Asian Institute of Technology Bangkok, Thailand. His area of research interest is microwave and optical communication. He has written another book Analog and Digital Electronics published by CBSPD.
