Sharmin Khan,
Sharmin Khan, MTech, PhD, is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. She has nearly 20 years of teaching experience and is actively involved in research in construction management and sustainable architecture. Her strong interest in the history of architecture inspired her to author History of Indian Architecture: Buddhist, Jain and Hindu Period, followed by History of Islamic Architecture: Delhi Sultanate, Mughal and Provincial Period as part of the same series. Her engagement with students continually motivates her to enhance their understanding of the subject, and she has presented material from diverse sources in a comprehensive and accessible manner.
