Dr. Seema Hasan is currently the Academic Director at the National Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. She has over two decades of experience in the media and mass communication industry.
A graduate in English Honors from Jamia Millia Islamia, Dr. Hasan completed her postgraduation in Mass Communication and Journalism and also qualified the UGC-NET competitive examination. She has conceptualized and scripted a variety of entertainment- and education-based programmes for leading television channels.
Dr. Hasan has authored study materials for mass communication and journalism for institutions such as IK Gujral Punjab Technical University and Ligaya’s University, among others. She has served as editor-in-chief of lifestyle magazines including Day Today, Focus (online magazine), and Dreamworld.
