Dr. Saumya Singh, MBBS (Hons), MD (Microbiology)
Dr. Saumya Singh is Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology and Infection Control Officer, as well as In-Charge of the Molecular Laboratory at United Institute of Medical Sciences, Prayagraj, UP. She has published numerous research papers in national and international journals.
Trained in medical education (RBCW) and NABL internal auditing, she is an active member of the Medical Education Unit at her institute and serves as curriculum in-charge for second-year MBBS students. She is currently pursuing an advanced course in medical education (ACME) from CMC, Ludhiana. Passionate about innovative teaching and research, she has applied her expertise to develop this practical manual.
