Dr. R. S. Sengar, PhD
Dr. R. S. Sengar is Professor and Head of the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, College of Agriculture, and Director of Training and Placement at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. With over 30 years of experience in educational planning, administration, institution building, teaching, and research, he has supervised 14 MSc and 20 PhD students as an advisor and co-guided 78 PhD and 80 MSc students. Dr. Sengar has published more than 214 research papers in reputed national and international journals, 1,072 popular articles in Hindi and English, and 18 books for the scientific community and farmers. He serves on editorial boards and review committees of several prestigious journals.
