Purushottam Giri
Purushottam Giri MBBS, MD (PSM), MIPHA, FIAPSM, CCEBDM is Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine at IIMSR Medical College, Badnapur, Jalna, Maharashtra. He has 17 years of teaching experience and has published over 190 scientific papers in national and international indexed medical journals, with 2,265 citations (h-index: 23, i10-index: 53). He authored the book Epidemiology and Programmatic Management of NCDs in India (2023). He currently serves as Secretary General of the National IAPSM (2022–25), Vice-President of IPHA Maharashtra State (2021–24), Zonal Representative (West Zone) of APCRI (2022–24), Secretary of IAPSM Maharashtra State (2021–24), and Central Council Member (West Zone) of National IPHA (2023–25). He has been an accredited faculty of the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC), Mumbai, since 2014.
