P.N. Behl, MBBS, FRCP (Edin), FICAI, FIMAS, was a renowned dermatologist and cutaneous surgeon in India, widely respected for his contributions to teaching, research, writing, and community service. He served as Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology at Maulana Azad Medical College and Irwin Hospital, New Delhi, and as Visiting Lecturer at Lady Hardinge Medical College and JN Occupational Therapy Institute, New Delhi. He was the founder and director of the Skin Institute and School of Dermatology, and Behl Institute of Community Service, Dasna, Uttar Pradesh. Among his notable publications are Skin Irritants and Sensitizing Plants Found in India, Herbs Useful in Dermatological Therapy, and Traditional Indian Dermatology—Concepts of Past and Present.
