Dr. P. N. Behl, MBBS, FRCP (Edin), FICAI, FIMAS
occupied a distinguished position among India’s most renowned physicians. A celebrated dermatologist and cutaneous surgeon, he devoted his life to teaching, research, writing, and missionary work. He served as Professor and Head, Department of Dermatology, Maulana Azad Medical College and Irwin Hospital, New Delhi, and as Visiting Lecturer at Lady Hardinge Medical College and JN Occupational Therapy Institute. He founded the Skin Institute and School of Dermatology and the Behl Institute of Community Service, Dasna, Uttar Pradesh. His notable books include Skin Irritants and Sensitizing Plants Found in India, Herbs Useful in Dermatological Therapy, and Traditional Indian Dermatology—Concepts of Past and Present.
