Nitin Ashok John
Niitin Ashok John, MD, DIH, FPGDMLE, PGDHA, is currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Physiology and Dean (Examinations) at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bibinagar, Hyderabad. He is a former Head of the Department of Physiology at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and Indira Gandhi Medical College, Puducherry.
He completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram, Wardha, and his MD from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Puducherry. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and has also received fellowships from the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB), London, UK; the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH), London, UK; and the Academy of Medical Educators (FAcadMEd), Cardiff, UK.
