Muhammad Rafiqul Alam
Muhammad Rafiqul Alam, MBBS, MD, FCPS, is currently Professor in the Department of Nephrology and Former Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration) at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He obtained his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College, FCPS (Medicine) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, and MD in Nephrology from Dhaka University.
Dr. Alam serves as President of the Bangladesh Renal Association, Vice President of the Society of Organ Transplantation, Bangladesh, and President of the Association of Physicians of Bangladesh. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and a member of the ISN South Asian Regional Board.
He is one of the editors of the Bangladesh Renal Journal and has authored two books, Kidney Niye Joto Kotha and Manual of Clinical Nephrology.
