Dr. Mohd. Aqil is Assistant Professor at Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi, with 16 years of teaching and research experience in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacy Practice. He completed his PhD in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard in 2002 and has since supervised four PhD theses and 20 MPharm dissertations.
He has published over 100 research papers in national and international journals and has co-authored five books. His work has been presented at numerous national and international conferences. He holds two Indian patents and is a life member of several professional organizations. In 2006, he was awarded the Scientist of the Year Award.
Dr. Aqil serves as the editor of the Journal of Pharmacy and Bioallied Sciences. He was a Visiting Scientist at the School of Pharmacy, London, under the International Exchange of Scientists Programme of the Indian National Science Academy and the Royal Society, UK, in 2006.
