Kanika Rai Kanika Rai is currently working as Professor and MOD (Medical–Surgical Nursing) at Maharishi Markandeshwar College of Nursing, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala. She has 12 years of teaching experience and is the founder of Kanika’s Nursing Academy, Chandigarh. She completed her BSc Nursing from the National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGIMER, Chandigarh, in 2007, and her MSc Nursing (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Nursing) from Maharishi Markandeshwar College of Nursing, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala. She is a Gold Medalist in MSc Nursing and has completed her PhD in Nursing from Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab. Dr. Rai is a member of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), the Nursing Research Society of India (NRSI), and the Society of Indian Neuroscience Nurses. She has published more than 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals.
