Dr. Chander K. Sarin Dr. Chander K. Sarin is the former Director-Principal of Rayat Bahra College of Nursing, Mohali, Punjab, and a former faculty member at NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh. She holds a postgraduation in Mental Health Nursing from Punjab University, Chandigarh, and a PhD from PGIMER. With 23 years of teaching experience, she has worked at PGIMER and Rattan Professional Education College of Nursing, Sohana, Mohali. Dr. Sarin has organized over 20 workshops, conducted short-term courses, and served as a resource person at national and international conferences. She played a key role in establishing the Intensive Care Unit for Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery patients at PGIMER. She is also on the editorial board of the British Journal of Nursing. She contributed to developing the Quality Assurance Model sponsored by the Indian Nursing Council and received the ADAIB Award in 1992.
